Building bodies!

Over the last few weeks the children in Primary 5 have been learning all about the human body. We have been finding out the names of the bones and organs as well as their functions.  Today, as part of our World Around Us and Art, we made our very own bodies.  Firstly, we had to draw on all of the bones.  Afterwards, we worked in our pairs to select a range of materials to create the organs.  We had to think carefully about the organs' functions while doing this to help us select materials.  We even created a life-size model for our year group display.  The tricky part was getting everything to stay in the right place and the tidying up afterwards!
