Hello and welcome to Primary 4LT!

We are a happy, respectful and caring class with lots of talents, likes and interests. We are looking forward to sharing our learning with you throughout the year.   

Topics

We aim to link our Literacy, Numeracy, World Around Us, ICT, Music, Art, Drama and PE around our half-termly topics.

• Term 1A: Celebrations Around the World.
• Term 1B: Pirates.
• Term 2A: Weather.
• Term 2B: Under the Sea.
• Term 3: World War 2.

We are going to have so much fun learning about all the different topics throughout the year.

Religion/PDMU

Our Religion is taught through the 'Grow In Love' programme.

Our PDMU is taught through the PATHS programme.

Sacraments

Children will be making their First Holy Communion this year. They will be prepared in school and we ask that parents support their children by practicing songs and prayers at home also.

Communion: Date to be confirmed.

Homework

Homework will be set through Showbie and is to be uploaded daily. Our homework consists of Spellings/Phonics, Literacy, Numeracy and Religion/PDMU.

PE

We will be enjoying PE two times a week.

Full PE kit is required on these two days.

We are going to have such a brilliant year this year in P4 and we can't wait to learn about all our different topics, have lots of fun with our friends and enjoy our learning.
