Rights Ambassadors at City Hall

The Rights Ambassadors from Holy Rosary Primary School enjoyed a special visit to City Hall, where they were warmly welcomed by councillors Gary McKeown and Séamas de Faoite. During the tour, the children learned how important decisions are made in Belfast and explored the council chamber. They had great fun trying on ceremonial robes and asking questions about leadership and responsibility. The pupils were also presented with a certificate of recognition, with one child commenting, “This is the greatest honor to receive this for our school.” They recognised clear similarities between councillors’ work and their own roles as elected Rights Ambassadors.
