European Day of Languages 2025
To mark European Day of Languages, our class explored the rich culture and language of Romania. We were delighted to learn some Romanian phrases from our talented Primary 6 pupils, who helped us say greetings like “Bună ziua” (Good day) and “Mulțumesc” (Thank you). It was a fantastic way to connect with another language and appreciate the diversity of Europe.
We also discovered the beautiful artwork of Ștefan Luchian, a renowned Romanian painter known for his expressive use of colour and floral themes. Inspired by his work, we created our own art pieces and reflected on how language and art help us understand different cultures.
It was a joyful celebration of learning, creativity, and connection across borders!
