Co-ordinates

This week in our Numeracy lessons we have have been learning about Co-ordinates.  We used the tiles on our classroom floor to re-create a co-ordinates grid and placed items at given points.  Miss Devenney then gave us a co-ordinate point and 'locked' us into the grid.  We were given directions to move to a new point but we couldn't escape the grid until we told our teacher our new co-ordinate grid.  We all enjoyed this fun way to learn about reading and plotting co-ordinates and we completed our book work with ease afterwards.
