Africa Day 2026
29th May 2026
Last Friday, we proudly celebrated Africa Day in our school, a very special occasion that allowed our children to explore and appreciate the richness and diversity of African cultures.
Africa Day is important because it helps children develop an understanding of different cultures, traditions and histories, while promoting respect, inclusion and global awareness from a young age.
Our pupils enjoyed a fantastic day full of learning and fun, where they explored Africa through art, music and history. The school was beautifully decorated with colourful African-inspired artwork created by the children, showcasing their creativity and enthusiasm.

We would like to say a very special thank you to all the mums who volunteered their time to support us during the day. Your help made a big difference and contributed to the success of the celebration.
It was a truly memorable day for everyone involved, and we are very proud of how our pupils embraced the experience with such curiosity, respect and enthusiasm.
