Holy Rosary has worked in partnership with Confucius Institute at Ulster University for many years. Confucius arrange for one of their Mandarin teachers to be based at our school each year. This year our Mandarin teacher is Ms Ma. Ms Ma teachers Mandarin language and cultural to all classes in our school, ranging from P1 to P7. Ms Ma also gets our children involved in many cultural based competitions including The Chinese New Year Poster competition and The Chinese Bridge competition. We have had many winners over the years. Most recently the Confucius Institute has introduced us to a school in China who we hope to collaborate with during the year ahead. Our children have created an introduction video for them, introducing our school using Mandarin.
