STEM challenge

A P6/7 team attended a STEM challenge at the Fortwilliam Centre in Belfast and were accompanied by Miss Hyland, our The World Around Us co-ordinator.

The event was organised by EANI & Sentinus and focused on the pupils' skills in Science, Technology & Mathematics.

As part of the challenge pupils had to design and construct a solution to a problem within a given time and were marked on design, team performance and sufficient use of materials.

The team were delighted to learn that they were awarded enough points to make it to the next round and will soon take part in the Sentinus Young Innovators Challenge at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast.
